The club welcomes all pilots, partners and aviation enthusiasts with memberships available for pilots, families and social (non flying)

 

In Oct. 1966 a group of like minded aviators came together to form "Kyneton Aero Club Inc".

The airfield is operated and maintained by the Kyneton Aero Club and it's many volunteers.

 

NO Landing FEES.

Prior permission for landings and circuits is required for visiting aircraft.

Due to the layout of Kyneton Airfield, CASA regulations do not permit operation of Gyroplanes at this field.

  Outdoor aircraft parking is available, (long term: fees apply).  
 The membership application form can be downloaded here     A half-yearly Airfield Access Fee is payable by all Kyneton based aircraft.
A Fly Neighbourly policy is in place, details can be found in ERSA.
   

 

YKTN-Circuits
  ALL aircraft are expected to follow standard operating procedures and circuit patterns at ALL times.

ENGINE Runups
A concrete runup bay is provided at the intersection of taxiways Alpha and Bravo adjacent the Primary wind sock.

RUNWAYS
09 / 27 :600 Meters Grass (subject to weather).
18 / 36 :650 Meters Sealed (Plus 200 Meters unsealed and subject to weather).

RWY's 18 and 27, RIGHT hand circuits.
